Hiyaviha Beach Cleanup 2024 Celebrates Community Effort

Local volunteers and organizations gathered on 10 March for the annual Hiyaviha Beach Cleanup 2024 in Hulhumalé, aiming to rid the shoreline of litter and protect the marine environment.
Quick Ezy Marine proudly cosponsored the event, emphasizing our commitment to sustainability and ocean health.
During the cleanup, participants collected bags of plastic waste and debris, highlighting how Maldives’ phaseout of single use plastics makes initiatives like this more impactful.
Congratulations to Mariyam Aileen Ahmed, who won the Lucky Draw prize at the event. In recognition of her environmental spirit, Quick Ezy awarded her a state of the art Quick Ezy water purifier, encouraging clean drinking water on every dive.
By rewarding community members and partnering in beach cleanups, Quick Ezy supports Maldives’ national plan to phase out plastics and promote ecofriendly alternatives. This event underscores our shared responsibility to keep the Maldives’ beaches pristine and our waters clear.
